As someone forever committed to learning, I use my lenses as a way to continue experiencing other perspectives while moving through life as both an observer and a participant. My photography is about finding pieces of a reminiscent or current passion within the frame; because of this, I view my work as entirely romantic. Through painting, photography, and writing, I approach the idea of self as something both observed and obscured. My work explores the fluid space where memory, emotion, and self-perception shift when you look too closely.
I’m drawn to moments where identity feels unstable, as I am almost always in the process of observing and transforming myself.
